How many pictures will we receive?
This depends on what kind of session you book. Number of images is listed on my investment page.
Can we bring pets to our photoshoot?
I absolutely love animals and would be thrilled to include them in your shoot! To make the experience enjoyable for everyone, please let me know ahead of time if you plan to bring your pet. I just ask that they are comfortable around strangers and can be easily managed during the session.
How far ahead should we book our session?
I truly mean it when I say, the sooner the better! I take a photography hiatus from January through early April, and since photography isn’t my only career, my calendar fills up quickly. I highly recommend booking your shoot as soon as possible, especially if you have a specific season or day of the week in mind. This is especially important for weddings as they take a lot of preparation and senior shoots with yearbook deadlines.
How should we dress for our family session?
Start by checking the weather! A huge perk of being located in Libby Montana is the different seasons but that also means a wide range of temperatures. You want to show up to your shoot comfortably so that comfort shows through in your images. Wear something that makes you feel confident! Neutrals and earthy tones like beige, olive, cream, burnt orange, deep red, and muted blues work beautifully with Montana’s stunning backdrops. For families, aim for a cohesive color palette without matching exactly. I find that bright colored patterns often take away from the most important focus, YOU!
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
It is completely normal to feel a little awkward in front of the camera. Most people feel that way, myself included. My goal is to make your session relaxed and fun. I will guide you through the whole process, from poses to prompts, so we can capture authentic moments that feel natural and true to you. You do not need to perform. Just come as you are and we will create something beautiful together.
